Stripes on Stripes

My favorite part of a new season is being able to check out and shop all the new arrivals.  This season I won’t be doing any shopping since I am well in to my third trimester.

I’ve scratched that itch by decorating the nursery and shopping for my little one which has been loads of fun.  For me, I’ll keep my sights set on summer, when I’ll hopefully be able to purchase some new additions to my wardrobe.  I am curious to see how my body will change and or bounce back from pregnancy and keeping my fingers crossed that it won’t be too tough.

In the meantime, I’ve tried to make the best out of what maternity items I have and tried to use any of my pre-pregnancy pieces that could work.  Both the turtleneck and dress in this shot are non-maternity but have just the right amount of give to fit me comfortably.  This has to be one of my favorite and possibly the most comfy outfit I’ve worn my entire pregnancy.

It’s purely coincidence that the bag and dress match perfectly but I love the concept of pairing vertical with horizontal stripes, don’t you?

  2. You look amazing! Love the sweater dress, and I agree the vertical & horizontal stripes together look fabulous!

  3. Love seeing stylish moms-to-be. What week are you in? Not much to go, right? :) The last time I saw myself with the belly was in November last year, when baby Alex was born. Feels like it was yesterday :)
